We have been farming at
Toad Hill Farm since 1991 here in Knox County and for that entire period
all of its products have been raised by organic methods. Many central
Ohio chefs seek our specialties such as lettuce mix, fingerling
potatoes, Asian greens and cherry tomato blend.
The highest quality is
our goal with all that we raise. Three factors are most important to our
products, freshness, nutrition and
tastes. All of Toad Hill’s vegetables are picked at the height of
freshness, then delivered as quickly as possible to ensure that the
customer gets the best. Carefully selecting varieties that have superior
nutrition and taste are very important when deciding what types of
vegetables to grow.
We
have over a decade of success in extending the growing season in high
tunnels. Currently we have four 36x96 foot houses where we can provide a
healthy rotation of our crops.
